Event Summary

Set oceanfront at the beachhouse at the moana, each PAIRINGS dinner is an unforgettable journey featuring a celebrity winemaker, brewmaster or master distiller presenting their craft along with perfectly paired complementary dishes prepared by the Moana Surfrider Chefs.

This PAIRINGS will feature world-renowned Grgich Hills Estate from Napa, most known for their exquisite and richly complex signature chardonnays. Founder Mike Grgich, 2008 Vinters Hall of Famer, is the notable winemaker behind the 1973 Chateau Montelena Chardonnay that bested several white Burgundy wines in the wine tasting event the Judgement of Paris; a dramatized version of the story told in the 2008 film Bottle Shock. World leaders such as Presidents Reagan and Clinton, Queen Elizabeth II, and French President François Mitterrand chose Grgich Hills Estate wines to be served at state dinners.

The evening will be hosted by Carl Russo.
